Blanket Cape

by Nicole Regan in

I was so excited when I saw the blanket cape on the Burberry A/W 14 runway and in the Chloe Pre-Fall 2014 collection. It's easily wearable; you can throw it on over just about anything, it looks good on anyone (especially with a peek of skin), and best of all it's comfortable. My personal style has always revolved around comfort. I know that if I don't feel comfortable in something, that I am not going to look confident wearing it. This cape in particular I received as a Christmas gift from my brother years ago and I had to dig it out of the closet after I saw the blanket cape on the runways. My favorite way to style the blanket cape is with an over the knee or thigh high boot. It's sexy and refreshing without being overtly so, thanks to the hint of leg.
