Campus

A throwback post to our gorgeous fall we had this year; Alex and I returned to our alma mater, the University of Minnesota, to take these photographs on the mall area. I recently read that travel + leisure named the U of M under one of America's ugliest college campuses (you can read the article here) and I couldn't help but feel a little offended. I attended the U while I was in high school in order to work on extra college credits and then stayed there for my college years. My five years there have lead to an affinity for the home of the gophers. Truly, the university is underrated for how beautiful it is in all the seasons. Even the school colors were chosen from the gorgeous maroon and gold fall leaves that drape on the cliffs of the Mississippi river that winds its way through. This comfortable (I told you it was going to be a theme!) sweater dress seemed to be more than appropriate for the location and weather. The dress transitions well, keeping me warm in the crisp shade of the trees and comfortable in the warmth of the sunshine.

Sweater dress Zara clutch (sold out), alternative here (much higher in price, but it's the only good alternative I could find) Leopard flats (super old!), alternative here, love these
