This past Sunday Alex and I had some fun exploring our new neighborhood. We shot these photos by a restaurant that is unfortunately no longer in service near our new home. After a few photoshoots we ventured over to the Dallas Farmers Market which is a short walk away. We picked up some locally made hummus, acorn squash, and macarons, dined on a steak cheeseburger made with bacon butter and sipped some cold brew coffee, which is as delicious as everyone says it is. Next week we'll go back to the market to pick out pumpkins to decorate for Halloween!
I purchased this Zara knit sweater coat this past winter when it was finally on sale. I'm so glad I did because it has the warmth of a sweater with the drama of a long duster coat. It will be a nice transitionary piece in the Texas fall. I kept it simple with grey suede pumps, a grey shirt, which I borrowed from Alex, and my favorite pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans. I have two pairs of these in different washes and they are my go to jean. The high waist is incredibly flattering and the leg is skinny enough without wearing like leggings.
