I won't be heading to a balmy beach location for spring break, but I do get to go back to my other home in Texas! Alex and I have our own apartment now, so it all feels a bit more real. I just can't wait until I get to move down there permanently in June. Our apartment has an amazing pool, something I may or may not be taking advantage of this coming week. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is warmer than Minnesota, but is still in spring mode. I've been savoring the mild weather because it allows me to still wear pants and sweaters during the morning and evening hours and some lighter layers during the day. The Rodebjer shirt dress is surprisingly versatile, as it can be worn as a dress, over pants, tucked into pants for a long shirted look, and so on. It's a great layering piece for the 'warm in the sun, cool in the shade' weather that I've been enjoying on my visits to Texas. Of course, I had to throw in some of my favorite delicate gold jewelry I've been wearing in rotation along with a great pair of ankle wrap flats.
