This was the start of my spring break in Texas. Rain! I can't complain (but I can rhyme) because it's warm and it's better than snow. I'm so happy to be in my new home, I can't wait to make the move permanent. On this grey and rainy day, I decided to match the weather by wearing, what else, grey. I clearly have a grey/black uniform that is my go to. Almost always with black skinnies on bottom and something oversized on top. As I said before, adopting a uniform makes it easier for me to get dressed everyday. These black high waisted skinny jeans are a new favorite in rotation. I love that the black creates a leaner silhouette and the high waist only contributes to that. You know how I love anything that makes my legs look longer. I decided to pair this look with silver jewelry, it's a departure from my typical gold, but it complemented this look a bit better. I've recently been drawn to more silver pieces, oddly enough these cuffs are on my wish list. In terms of accessorizing, I usually prefer to choose the metal after I've already assembled the majority of my outfit, and I prefer something thin and dainty to wear. I have never been much of a jewelry wearer, but the light pieces I gravitate towards feel like I'm wearing nothing anyways.
