textured whites

You all know by now that I love a full monochrome look. It's easy, it's chic and it looks like you put in a lot of thought when in reality it's three pieces of similar tone. People are surprised that I have little to no color in my wardrobe, but if I did, I couldn't pull off looks like this. I have enough neutrals to mix and match so that I can always pull something together that looks well thought out.

In other news, the other day I was on a conference call with Ken Downing, the fashion director and senior VP of Neiman Marcus, in which he gave us the trends for this spring season. I know my friend's back home in Minnesota can barely start thinking of spring dressing, but here in Dallas it's 65 today! Living the dream my friends. In saying this, I'm not huge into following trends. I will pick up some things along the way but for the most part I stick to my uniform. It's relatively timeless and not too trend driven. I will slowly divulge on the trends in upcoming posts, but the one thing you should take away is matte lips. Huge.
