I am going to take a minute to be honest here. If I had the option of laying in bed or going to the gym, 9 times out of 10 I would pick laying in bed. (My bed is super comfortable, so the decision seems pretty obvious.) But I know how important working out is for my health, self confidence and peace of mind so I drag my butt to the gym as much as I can. I've tried just about everything in terms of workouts and fitness trends. I really love boxing and MMA, it's incredibly empowering, but I have had to limit how much I practice it due to previous injuries. I'm currently tackling Kayla Itsines bikini body guide. I really like that she has everything planned out - workouts and nutrition for every day of the week. I will keep you all updated as to how it is going!
Most of the items I've chosen above are ones that I already wear or are from brands that I know and like. I'm very particular about what I wear to work out. I don't want to be pulling up my pants all the time or yanking my bra down. After a lot of trial and error, I've narrowed it down to a few basics that I wear and rotate regularly. You'll notice that my choices are all black, like the majority of my wardrobe. I feel that if I'm wearing all black workout clothes, it's chic enough to make a quick grocery run afterwards. Or maybe I just use that as an excuse to justify wearing workout clothes most of the day.
